Spiritualism... Science, Philosophy and Religion Spiritualism is a Science, Philosophy and Religion that accepts the existence of Infinite Intelligence. Its practices promulgate the spiritual truths revealed in the Holy Bible and other Sacred Scriptures and as revealed in the life and teachings of Jesus the Christ as well as other Holy Avatars of God. |
Spiritualist: One who, either through one's own inherent powers or Healer through Mediumship, is able to impart vital, curative force to pathologic conditions. Phenomena of Spiritualism: Consists of Prophecy, Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Gift of Tongues, Laying on of Hands, Healing, Visions, Trance, Apports, Levitation, Raps, Automatic and Independent Writings and Paintings, Voice, Materialization, Photography, Psychometry and any other manifestation proving the continuity of life as demonstrated through the physical and Spiritual senses and faculties of man. |
Spiritualism is a Science because it investigates, analyses and classifies facts and manifestations demonstrated from the spirit side of life. Spiritualism is a Philosophy because it studies the laws of nature both on the seen and unseen sides of life and bases its conclusions upon present observed facts. It accepts statements of observed facts of past ages and conclusions drawn there from, when sustained by reason and by results of observed facts of the present day. |

Paramount among the spiritual truths is the fact that life is continuous. The change called death is merely a rebirth into a world of higher vibration. This truth is proven through communication, by means of mental and physical Mediumship, with loved ones and teachers who live in the spirit world. Other Truths are contained in the Declaration of Principles as accepted by the Spiritual Churches of Science and Revelation. One of the objectives of Spiritualists is to teach these truths pertaining to our spiritual and physical welfare. However, the practice and promulgation of these truths do not make Spiritualism a creed because each individual is encouraged to worship God according to the dictates of his or her own conscience. |
